Strawberry Lemon Checkerboard Cake
Sharing the cake I made for mother's day! A great base recipe that can be swapped out easily with other freeze dried berries or citrus.
Today is Mother’s Day and I’m spending the day with family and sharing the cake I made for my mom, the person that inspired me to get into baking. This cake is perfect for the spring and uses some of her favorite flavors. I made a checkerboard cake a few years ago and it’s been something I’ve wanted to make again for a few months.
